The Warring Factions

South African Defence Force UK Regiment (SADFUKR)

Despite the UK in their title the SADFUKRs are an international mercenary force. They are accused of harbouring many SS war criminals in their ranks.. They fight for the South African Government, doing their dirty work in Ztumsia and Setumsia.

(1) SADFUKR forces occasionally use tanks such as this US M26 Pershing

(2) But they prefer to use more mobile armoured cars such as this French AMX10 RC (Bob Chapman, aka F.W de Clutch SADFUKR C in C, really wanted to use eight wheeled Rooikats, possibly the worlds biggest armoured car, but nobody makes them).

(3) An M50 Ontos with 6 x 106mm RCLs "Ontos" is Greek for "the thing" an apt name for this weird looking vehicle which packs a considerable punch with its 6 x 106mm recoiless rifles. It is extremely vulnerable to enemy fire as it only very lightly armoured and the crew need to leave the vehicle to reload the weapons The backblast when all six RCLs fire at once is apparently quite a sight.

(4) SADFUKR professional infantry
(5) Mortar support
(6) Until recently the SADFUKRs used captured APCs such as this French AMX 40.
(7) or this BTR-60PB
(8) But recently they have taken delivery of more modern Ratel APCs. This one mounts a 90mm gun.
(9) while this one just has 20mms.
(10) SADFUKR militia
(11) Militia MGs

(12) The SADFUKRs are rumoured to harbour many ex-Nazis looking for a place to hide. Perhaps this explains their liking of old German equipment such as this 88.
