The Warring Factions

Peacekeepers International of Gurundi (PIGS)

UN Intervention Force

The UN forces or Peacekeepers International Gurundi are composed of lightly equiped elite forces from France and America supported by more heavily equiped forces from Malaysia.

Commanded by Brig Peters they have been expelled from Gurundi by the newly formed Government. Openly hostile to the UN the Gurundians have denied them access to the airfields they relied upon for supplies. Totally cut off the PIGs (as the Gurundians call them) have been ordered to march across Gurundi and Ztumsia to the port of St Andrews in the West African Republic of Trans Ztumsia. Here they can be held for UN duties in Ztumsia or most likely repatriated.

Held together by adversity these hard bitten troops have adopted the name PIGS for themselves but most of the locals call them 'Peters' Pigs'. Before leaving Gurundi they managed to find some paint for their heavier vehicles and ditched the lighter ones when fuel ran out. Supplies are dropped by air or collected from hostile forces of which Ztumsai has more than enough.
