Dave Wilson - A TributeThis page is here as a tribute to Dave Wilson, a player in the AK47 Ztum-Setum campaign who died in May 2002. Dave had not quite finished raising his own army for the campaign (see PRAT below) and he usually played as sub-commander for the ZSA Alliance. He will be remembered by all of us as a gentleman and as a formidable opponent who was pleasure to game with. Dave was a skilled modeller and was forever converting and customising figures, particularly his Warhammer 40K Space Marines, or scratch building vehicles and terrain pieces. An example of his work is shown below. With one toy truck, lots of plasticard and some bits and pieces from his bits box Dave was making himself a truck capable of representing a whole range of vehicles. Everything except the truck chassis and cab is scratchbuilt. The AA gun in particular is a minor work of art.
PRAT: the People's Religious Army of Trans-SetumsiaDave is sadly missed by all of us playing in the campaign. |
